Cynthia began working at Twin Peaks Veterinary Center in September of 2015 and brought with her 8 years of experience in the veterinary field. Cynthia loves working with our furry friends who need a little extra love due to anxiety, and does a wonderful job with them! She has a special interest in dentistry and surgeries in the veterinary field and enjoys the learning experiences she is gaining at Twin Peaks. She has a BIG furry family that include a Miniature Pinscher named Missy, a Bullmastiff named Ginger and three Chow Chow pups; along with many other furry animals. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her son and family
RBG has many jobs in the clinic, including, staff counselor, demonstration kitty, and raider of food. She is roughly 12 years old and has been with us for a little over a year. RBG was adopted from the Hermitage Cat Shelter at almost 19 pounds and with a strict diet and weight loss program she is currently down to a hefty 15 pounds. When she is not found in our practice managers office she can be spotted laying in our hallway or call center providing moral support to anyone in need.
Devon Strege moved to Tucson from California and started working at Twin Peaks Veterinary Center in April of 2013. Devon attended Western Career College in California, and brings forth years of varied veterinary technician experience! We are excited to have her on our team! When Devon is not at work, she is spending time with Chris and their many family pets. Devon was recently promoted to Inventory Manager; she will continue splitting her time working as a technician along with managing the various inventory of the clinic.
Vanesa was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and has worked at TPVC since July of 2015. She is a graduate of Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assisting and Veterinary Technology program where she learned more about veterinary nursing and obtained her Associate’s degree in Applied Science. Upon graduating, she applied to sit for her national and state examinations, where she earned her certificate to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Vanesa has many interests in the veterinary field but particularly enjoys surgical and laboratory procedures. When she is not at work, she is spending time with her animal family and enjoys hobbies such has practiced yoga and meditation, hiking, attending live music shows, and playing the piano.
Samantha was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She attended and graduated from the veterinary technician program at Pima Community College. After graduation, she took the state and national board exams and became a certified veterinary technician. She lives with her two Pitbulls, two sulcata tortoises and is owned by her Bengal. She has loved animals from a young age and is excited to learn and grow in this field everyday.
Shannon was born and raised in Southern CA. She has always loved animals (small and large). When she decided that she wanted a career that would make a difference, she went to school in the veterinary field. She has graduated with her Veterinary Assistant certification and recently Veterinary Technician degree. She is passionate about the veterinary field and is excited to continue to learn and grow. “I want to be a voice for those who don’t have one, and make a positive experience in my patients/clients lives”.
Marsha grew up in Ft. Collins, Colorado and lived in Tucson for 7 years where she first began working as a Veterinary Assistant at another local clinic. She returned back to Colorado where she continued to work in the field for another 7 years before returning to Tucson this past January. She has always enjoyed working in the field and has worked with both large and small animals. She has owned many pets in her life, but currently has a Siberian Husky named Loki and Tyson. When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughter.
Anahi grew up in El Paso, TX and has lived in Tucson for 8 years. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Anahi has always had a love for veterinary medicine and has worked as a Veterinary Assistant since 2007. She has recently returned to Twin Peaks Veterinary Center after being away for two years and is excited to be back. She has always had pets and currently has an American Bulldog named Daisy and a cat named Rocky. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
Brittany moved here from Northern Arizona in 2010 to pursue an education at the University of Arizona and graduated in 2014 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences. She has been part of the Twin Peaks Veterinary Team and Family since March 2015. Growing up on her family’s ranch, Brittany has always had a passion to care for animals and hopes to continue expanding her knowledge and experience here at Twin Peaks. She has two dogs: Mia and Jessie, and a beautiful Palomino named Nosy. In her spare time she loves to run and hike, enjoys photography and art, and loves spending time with family and friends.
Jaime grew up in Tucson, Arizona and knew as a little girl that working and helping animals was what she wanted to do when she grew up. Jaime graduated from Pima Medical Institute in March 2018 with a veterinary assistant certificate and will be returning back soon to complete the certified veterinary technician program. She is also interested in expanding her knowledge and specializing in animal behavior and training. In her free time she likes to hike, do cross-fit, and spend time with friends and family and her fur babies. Jaime currently has a black lab named Abby, a pit bull named Harley and cat named Smoke.
Kim was born in Tucson and has lived here her whole life. After working in retail and finance for several years, Kim decided to go back to school in March of 2019 to follow her passion for working with animals. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program in November and is now back in school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Kim enjoys traveling, watching movies, reading, and be outside. She also likes to relax at home with her dogs – a tripod Puggle named Jordi and a Jack Russell named Maximus
Kasey is originally from the east coast but was raised in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assistant program and is currently furthering her education in the Veterinary Nursing program in hopes of becoming a board-certified Veterinary Technician. Kasey grew up as an equestrian and is a passionate advocate for rescue and shelter animals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three rescued dogs, Henley, Ziggy, and Titus.
Shelby was born in Anchorage, Alaska but at a young age moved to Arizona. She grew up always having pets in the house, and always had a love for animals. At the age of 18, she started working with all kinds of animals from small hamsters, fish, and reptiles all the way to the camels at the zoo!! In 2016 Shelby went to Pima Community College and received her Veterinarian Assistant Certificate, and got started in the vet field. She has 4 dogs, one is a special needs Old English Bulldog, Leela-the one-eyed cat, a 17-year-old desert tortoise, and a corn snake. Shelby recently became a mother to a baby boy in December 2018 and is now back to work joining Twin Peaks Veterinary Center!
Frannie is a Tucson native. Her passion and love for animals stems from her youth with her own pets. Frannie started her career in emergency medicine, though soon realized she preferred general practice and primary care due to her appreciation for one on one relationships with both patients and clients alike. Frannie shares her life with 2 rescue dogs, a shepherd mix named Tucker and a Lab named Abbi. In her free time, she enjoys multiple sports, running, hiking, and rock climbing.
Rebekah was born in Wilcox and moved to Tucson at 5 years old. She has always loved being around animals and always found comfort in being around animals. Rebekah always wanted to work in a field caring for animals and went to school for vet assistant. After graduating she was hired at a cat shelter in Tucson and continued in shelter medicine for 2 years before joining the Twin Peaks Veterinary team. Rebekah loves working as a veterinary assistant and helping animals and finds it truly rewarding. Fun fact about Rebekah is that she has 9 animals total; 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 ferrets.
