Twin Peaks Veterinary Center recommends regular veterinary care for cats and dogs throughout their lifetimes. This includes initial visits for vaccinations when they are 8 to 12 weeks old, spaying/neutering (recommended between 4 and 12 months old), and annual wellness examinations and vaccine boosters. Once your pet is 6 years old or older, we also recommend preventative procedures that can extend the life of your pet. For example, an older cat or dog may benefit from a Senior Wellness Profile to isolate and treat potential problems in the early stages, or a dental cleaning under anesthesia.
