Veterinary Services Offered by Our Friendly Tucson Vet Care Team
To better serve our pet patients in Tucson and Marana, we are happy to provide a wide range of vet care services. Whether you are a new pet owner or you’ve been raising animals for years, we have the knowledge and skills necessary to treat your pets in a safe and comfortable environment.
The foundation of our veterinary practice begins with regular wellness exams. With annual or biannual wellness check-ups we can help to ensure that your cat or dog is happy and healthy. Regular pet exams also allow us to catch more serious health problems early on and provide the highest quality care for your family pets. During their annual wellness exam, we will thoroughly look over their skin and coat, eyes and ears, mouth and teeth, paws and internal organs. Additionally, we may require a fecal or blood sample to rule out common diseases.
It’s important to start thinking about your pet’s core vaccinations at about 8 to 12 weeks of age. Vaccinations are the best way to protect your family pet from common diseases and viruses. We want to ensure that your pet has the best chance at a long and happy life, so we are happy to set up a vaccination schedule that fits their health and lifestyle needs. As they age, booster vaccinations are also recommended to help avoid potential health risks.
As a full-service veterinary center, we are able to provide your pets with a number of important surgical treatments, including:
- Spay and Neuter
- General Surgery
- Dental Surgery
- Tumor Removal
- Foreign Object Removal
- And More
We will always do everything in our power to make sure that your pet feels safe and comfortable throughout the surgery process. We will also work closely with you to provide proper aftercare information and at-home care steps.
Just like their owners, your pets need regular dental exams and cleaning to keep their mouths healthy for many years to come. During their annual wellness exam, we will take a closer look at their oral health to rule out any risk for common dental diseases and determine when they will need a cleaning. We will also provide you with important steps for at-home dental care to help keep their teeth clean and healthy. While some breeds are more susceptible to tooth decay, we are focused on preventative care and like to avoid extractions whenever possible.
No one wants to fall in love with a new pet and spend all of that time caring for a furry friend only to lose them later on down the line. Whether you have a pet that tends to escape the yard or you just want a bit of insurance in case of an emergency, microchipping is a great way to give your family peace of mind. Placed under the skin and just between the shoulder blades, a scannable microchip is a safe and effective way to register your pet with our vet center in case they are ever lost and later recovered.
Taking care of your pet’s skin, coat and nails is an important part of being a good pet owner an important for their overall wellness. But in some cases, all of that is much easier said than done! Luckily, our skilled and friendly veterinary care specialists are happy to tackle the grooming process so you don’t have to. From shampooing and fur trimming to skin conditioning and nail trimming, we’re here to work hard so you don’t have to.
We are excited to add ultrasound to our state of the art diagnostic tools. More information coming soon.
