Special Packages
Puppy and Kitten Packages
Puppies and kittens should get their first veterinary exam and vaccinations when they are 8 to 12 weeks old, and should complete the series of vaccinations no earlier than 16 weeks of age. Twin Peaks Veterinary Center offers several Puppy Packages and Kitten Packages that bundle the recommended treatments for puppies and kittens at a reasonable price. The package will include physical exams, parasite prevention, behavior counseling, and all of the vaccinations needed to keep your pet healthy. Puppies also receive their first dose of heartworm preventative.
Spay/Neuter and Kitten Declaw Packages
Twin Peaks Veterinary Center recommends spaying/neutering in the pet’s first year to prevent unwanted sexual behavior and pregnancies, and because it actually decreases or completely eliminates several diseases later in the pet’s life. We recommend spaying/neutering puppies and kittens when they are 4-6 months old. Twin Peaks Veterinary Center offers several packages that bundle spay/neuter surgeries for pets between 4 and 9 months old with other treatments at a discounted price. This package will include the spay/neuter, comprehensive preoperative examination including bloodwork, state of the art anesthetic monitoring by a certified veterinary technician, overnight hospitalization if warranted and postoperative medications, with the option to add services like microchipping for a nominal fee. Please ask us for details regarding declawing kittens as some guidelines must be followed.
Adult & Senior Wellness Packages
Just like humans, pets encounter certain age-specific health issues, many of which can be controlled by diet, medication, or behavior and environment modification if they are diagnosed in the early stages. Twin Peaks Veterinary Center offers packages that bundle the screening diagnostics needed to evaluate the health of a cat or dog that is 1-6 years old for Adult Packages or 7 and older for Senior Packages, at a discounted cost. These screenings allow us to diagnose potential life-threatening problems earlier in the pet’s life, when they can be more easily treated. Packages include a complete physical examination, comprehensive blood profiles that check for diabetes and liver/kidney functions, a urine and fecal screening, chest x-rays, a diet/nutrition review, and immunizations if they are due.
