The ASPCA offers a Disaster Preparedness Kit for no charge; please be sure to request one so that you and your pets can be better prepared for an emergency situation.

1. If you're thinking about adopting a cat, consider taking home two.
2. Find a cat whose personality meshes with yours.
3. Pick out a veterinarian ahead of time and schedule a visit within the first few days following the adoption.
4. Make sure everyone in the house is prepared to have a cat before it comes home.
5. Budget for the short- and long-term costs of a cat.
6. Stock up on supplies before the cat arrives.
7. Cat-proof your home.
8. Go slowly when introducing your cat to new friends and family.
9. Be sure to include your new pet in your family’s emergency plan.
10. If you are considering giving a cat as a gift, make sure the recipient is an active participant in the adoption process.
K-LASER NOW AT TWIN PEAKS VETERINARY

Twin Peaks Veterinary Center is proud to announce the addition of K-Laser Class IV therapeutic laser treatments for advanced pain relief and enhanced tissue healing. Dr. Neuman is very excited to offer these treatments to our patients. Lasers have been used in Europe for dozens of years, but are relatively new here in the US. BARK FOR LIFE 2011

Twin Peaks Veterinary Center was thrilled to participate in Bark For Life 2011! We had a veterinarian on-site to administer the Rabies and Distemper/Parvo vaccinations. The $15 fee collected for each shot benefits the American Cancer Society's research.
Relay for Life of Northwest Pima County held this event Sunday, February 13, 2011. "Bark for Life" is a fundraising event for The American Cancer Society that honors the care-giving qualities of canine companions.

We invite you to come by and meet Susan Drum, our groomer who has 12 years of experience. Susan is familiar with all dog & cat breeds, sizes and temperaments. Grooming appointments are available now with a quick phone call.
We also want to introduce Sue Barrett, who will be coordinating our dog training classes, seminars and community educational services. Training Classes are starting now so be sure to give us a call!
