We are first and foremost an animal hospital, so there is a good chance that animals who visit us will be fighting off illness or have a depressed immune system. We do not want to put those hospitalized patients at any increased risk. Therefore, we will require your pet be healthy and up to date on all prevention.
It is very important to Dr. Neuman and the staff that we only board as many pets as we can safely and comfortable accommodate. In our current facility, the number is small. In our new Dove Mountain facility, coming 2016, the number of available spaces will be much larger.
Bathing at the end of a boarding stay ensures that your pet goes home smelling fresh and clean. We will also guarantee that your pet will not bring home any fleas or ticks.
We strongly encourage owners not to bring to many belongings from home. There is a chance that they will be misplaced or damaged, and we don’t want to be responsible for the loss of something special. Owners should bring the pet’s special or prescription diet if necessary, as well as any medications needed during your pets stay. We will provide bedding for kennels, pet bowls for water/food, and lots of love.
No. Our technical staff is on duty only during our normal hours of operations from 7am to 9pm.
No. At this time we do not offer doggie daycare/play groups. You may purchase extra time for walks or exercise in the yard with a staff member, but we do not mix dogs from different households.
Dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella
Cats: Rabies, FVRCP
We will do our very best to accommodate your feeding schedule. Typically your pet will be fed twice daily. Be assured that we monitor very closely for change in appetite and will adjust feeding according to your pets needs.
Of course! Anyone is welcome to tour the facility at any time. We strongly recommend that you make an appointment to ensure there is adequate staffing to facilitate your request.
Currently there are no cancellation fees. We do understand that plans change. However, we do reserve the right to deny any reservation at any time if it becomes an issue.
Yes. We have a designated room for our cat condos, separated from the dogs by several doors. At no time will cats and dogs share a boarding space.
